I am existing Verizon customer and was online examining my account. I did not see this promotional offering online, rather it was presented to me in their chat popups. The representative offered a Samsung S23 phone free. There would be no charge for the phone, but I was required to pay upfront the Maryland tax on the retail price of the phone, and their $ 35 upgrade fee. So, it’s not really free.

Usually, these Verizon offerings require a more expensive service, but I keep the same service.

Just spoke to loyalty and they are offering $ 300 off any new iPhones without trading in your old device. You are stuck for 30 months with bill credits. If you decide to pay off the device early, you will lose the $ 300 and end up paying the full price of the phone.

Searched and didn’t find this deal, sorry if it’s a repost. Today’s local Target ad has the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 for $ 99.99 with a new 2yr contract (Sprint, Verizon, AT&T). It’s written in the fine print below the caption. Took the ad to Best Buy where they price matched it, no questions asked. This is the best price I’ve seen on the Note 4 at a B&M store, Reg $ 299.
