Nest recently changed their Nest Aware subscription from $ 5/month per camera to $ 60/year per household for their base package. I have multiple cameras so it made sense for me to switch to the new pricing plan. I did so 2 weeks ago. Today I received an email from Nest saying:

It’s nice to have a little extra
Thank you for your recent order.
Your new Nest Aware subscription qualified you for a Nest Mini on us.*

I placed the order, there were multiple colors available, and shipping was free as well. See attached image.
