I did a long chat with VIZIO on 03/21/15 as follows:
Mar 21, 2:27 PM

Chat transcript:
Visitor: Hi- I was planning on buying either the current- M492I-B2 or the "new" M43-C1

But wanted to make sure the "USA Warranty" applies to this vendor?

I did receive an email and they said- Yes

But just double checking via VIZIO Chat
Visitor: No problem
Collin: I understand you’re curious about our warranty coverage. Here at VIZIO we pride ourselves in providing best in class U.S. based support. One moment while I check on this for you.
Collin: I have never heard of this retailer, but depending on who their distributor is, it is possible. It is certain, though, that we cover every TV for 1 year from the manufacturing date.
Visitor: Thanks
Collin: You’re welcome! Is there anything else I can assist you with today?
Visitor: be right back
Visitor: Hello,

Visitor: this is the email reply they sent me
Visitor: this is the email reply they sent me
Collin: I understand, and we cover it for 1 year from the manufacturing date no matter what.
Collin: Outside of that, we would need your receipt.
Visitor: I just want to make sure- when I get it- VIZIO USA will cover the product
Visitor: If I am correct any Television- 37 inch or larger is "on site" warranty?
Collin: Any TV larger than 30" we repair on-site, and any TV larger than 70" is replaced on-site.
Collin: *40"
Collin: not 70"
Visitor: okay so if I bought a 40 inch TV or larger and it had problems- the service tech- just replaces the unit
Visitor: and not try to fix it on site
Collin: No, it depends on the issue.
Collin: If it’s repairable, we repair it.
Visitor: okay
Collin: *Repairable within a reasonable time.
Visitor: So it’s safe to buy the television from vogme.com and not worry about VIZIO USA Warranty issues for the 1 Year Parts and Labor warranty- as long as I have a receipt?
Collin: Correct.
Visitor: Will I receive a copy of this chat afterwards? So I can have proof that I inquired about vogme.com
Collin: You will receive a copy of this chat transcript sent to the email address that you entered when you started the chat. This email will send automatically as soon as the chat has ended.
Visitor: before I forget is there a difference in zones versus the M43-C1 and the 50 inch model (I believe they stopped a 49 inch mode0)
Collin: 28 dimming zones on the 43". 32 dimming zones on the 50".
Visitor: so I am correct it goes from… 43 to 50… besides the larger 2015 M Series
Collin: There is an M49-C1.
Visitor: in your opinion would I better- just get a M43-C1 versus an M492I-B2
Visitor: hmmm- what is the dimming zones for that one
Visitor: and is it dumb.. to get the 49 inch versus the 50 inch
Visitor: again… just your personal opinion… and not speaking for VIZIO
Collin: 32 on the 49" as well.
Visitor: so that’s a big difference "28 versus 32"?
Collin: Just a few extra dimming zones.
Visitor: and if I am correct- the 2015 M Series vs the 2014 M Series
Visitor: is much closer to 4K
Visitor: and not having to purchase a 2015 VIZIO P Series
Visitor: if money was an issue
Collin: Our 2015 M-series are a 4K TV.
Visitor: so its not near 4K.. it is?
Collin: That is correct.
Visitor: and those are coming into the stores- like now?
Collin: We haven’t announced a release date for any of our 2015 models at this time. They are slowly rolling out, though.
Visitor: Thanks for the information Collin- You have a nice weekend
Collin: You’re welcome! Is there anything else I can assist you with today?
