I was searching for a gas string trimmer. I use maybe twice per year. Reviews vary from terrible to great. Never seen one this low so I decided to take a chance. I was able to buy online with free shipping. I will post an update after trying it out.

Stopped by my local Lowe’s today (75082 zip code) and they had a number of mowers on clearance, specifically the TB200. Reg price is $ 269.99 but was on sale for $ 134.99. The employee told me Lowe’s is moving from Troy-Bilt to Craftsman branded mowers so you might find other mower deals on Troy-Bilt.

This is very YMMV as not all stores stock such a large item and if they do, small inventory counts. Either way, I was able to locate 3 stores around me with stock. $ 2299, half off to $ 1149.

I picked one up. It seemed like a decent deal to me. This has the Briggs and Stratton engine in it and not the Honda engine.
