First time posting a deal. This is similar to the last Rotella motor oil deal, but instead of getting cash back, you get the choice of a gift card from a list of retailers that you can see on the Shell website. Amazon gift cards is one of the options, which is pretty much like cash for me; I know it will get used. The gift card value goes up to $ 40, depending on how much oil you buy.

You can buy the oil from many retailers, but like the last deal, Walmart Online orders are not eligible. But pricing out Walmart prices, a case of3x 1-gallon jugs of oil is $ 70.56 [walmart.com] right now, and you’ll get a $ 40 gift card, which brings the effective price to $ 30.56.

If you plan on buying the oil that day I recommend asking the staff to hold the oil because Pep Boys seem to keep very limited quantities of Shell Rotella (red jug) oil at any one time. If they have what you want at <= $ 29.90 per jug go to the store and skip to step 7 .
