Note that, for reference, MSI GE70 Apache Pro-012 used to be this price recently until got dropped to $ 999 (Amazon) in addition to $ 100 rebate. The GE70 covers many vendors and the GT70 may be due for a non-vendor-exclusive rebate too. But not sure if it will be more than $ 100. Right now it’s only an Adorama specific rebate.
