In The Dark Forest, Earth is reeling from the revelation of a coming alien invasion-in just four centuries’ time. The aliens’ human collaborators may have been defeated, but the presence of the sophons, the subatomic particles that allow Trisolaris instant access to all human information, means that Earth’s defense plans are totally exposed to the enemy. Only the human mind remains a secret. This is the motivation for the Wallfacer Project, a daring plan that grants four men enormous resources to design secret strategies, hidden through deceit and misdirection from Earth and Trisolaris alike. Three of the Wallfacers are influential statesmen and scientists, but the fourth is a total unknown. Luo Ji, an unambitious Chinese astronomer and sociologist, is baffled by his new status. All he knows is that he’s the one Wallfacer that Trisolaris wants dead.
The Psychopath Test is a fascinating journey through the minds of madness. Jon Ronson’s exploration of a potential hoax being played on the world’s top neurologists takes him, unexpectedly, into the heart of the madness industry. An influential psychologist who is convinced that many important CEOs and politicians are, in fact, psychopaths teaches Ronson how to spot these high-flying individuals by looking out for little telltale verbal and nonverbal clues. And so Ronson, armed with his new psychopath-spotting abilities, enters the corridors of power. He spends time with a death-squad leader institutionalized for mortgage fraud in Coxsackie, New York; a legendary CEO whose psychopathy has been speculated about in the press; and a patient in an asylum for the criminally insane who insists he’s sane and certainly not a psychopath.

In Coraline’s family’s new flat there’s a locked door. On the other side is a brick wall—until Coraline unlocks the door . . . and finds a passage to another flat in another house just like her own.
Only different.
The food is better there. Books have pictures that writhe and crawl and shimmer. And there’s another mother and father there who want Coraline to be their little girl. They want to change her and keep her with them. . . . Forever.
Found this recent autobiography on sale while searching for a title to purchase with my "Great on Kindle" credit. If you’ve admired Ms Field as an actress or want to know a little more about her 70s life with Burt Reynolds, this might be worth your time. Most used prices for this book are still above $ 10, so I think this is a good deal. I hope the content is as engaging as the cover; it goes without being said that Sally was a very attractive lady. I loved her performances in Forrest Gump and Lincoln. Enjoy these YouTube videos:

Long a favorite of in-the-know foodies, Korean cuisine is a hot food trend, with dishes like bibimbap and kimchi popping up on menus nationwide. In a PBS series, Marja Vongerichten and three-star Michelin chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten gave viewers an insider’s look at Korea as they travel the country and experience its authentic flavors and cultural traditions. As the show’s companion cookbook, The Kimchi Chronicles includes a recipe for every dish featured, explaining how they can be easily duplicated in an American kitchen. Chef Vongerichten also offers original dishes with a lighter, modern flair, showing how the flavors of the Korean table can be readily integrated into any meal.
