Grey Poupon introduced Dijon mustard to mass market America and still makes a killing selling what is really just another mustard at carriage-trade prices. A recent Hot Deal had 12 oz at $ 2.17. Still way overpriced.
If you go to Walmart, they have perfectly good Dijon [walmart.com], 12 oz for 92 cents and a very nice Honey Dijon [walmart.com] (with half the salt…I find most Dijons too salty) .
