Hey guys, I ended up biting the bullet on this purchase that currently is on sale for a list price of $ 538.99 (down from $ 629.99).

I then went to the following link to sign up for the dell e-mail list where you get a one time 10% off coupon within an hour or two of signing up:

This brought my total down to $ 485.09, a total of $ 144.90 off. That’s the best price I’ve found on an Ryzen 4500U 15 inch laptop from a decent brand and therefore I pulled the trigger and thought I’d share.
