Newegg has the Polk PSW505 12" powered sub on sale for $ 169.99 with free shipping. I can’t comment on the performance compared to other woofers in this price range, but if you need cheap bass, this seems like it should do it. This price is inline with past deals, but it seems the last time it was this price was back in Jan/Feb of this year according to slickdeals search.
