The Masterbuilt Thermotemp XL Propane Smoker is just one of 2 (the other being a smaller version, non XL version of this) that have a thermostat to control the temperature in the smoker. It retails for $ 349.99 and usually the best sale you will ever find is 10% off. Blains Farm and Fleet has it on sale for $ 279.99 plus shipping (or no shipping if you are located near one). Since we are half way through summer, most stores don’t have these or have raised their prices (I’m looking at you Amazon).
