Google Store [google.com] has a new offer on the Pixel 2 XL. A chat with their customer service has revealed that there is a new promotion on Pixel phones directly from google every month. This month, it is a $ 100 store credit offer, which can be combined with (up to) $ 400 refund for an eligible phone trade in.

Unlike the 20% off email only sent to a few people, this offer is good for everyone.
