This listing is for the original Ghost in the Shell anime from 1996. The price for the digital HD version normally hovers around $ 7.99, but that recently dropped to $ 4.99 on both Amazon and Vudu. Perhaps this is a promotional sale ahead of the live action remake coming Friday.
There is some debate between those who prefer the Original and those who prefer the re-CGI’d version 2.0. Personally, I prefer the original, but to each their own.
