Fios 100/100 Internet $45 Month Existing Customers w/ 2 Year Agreement

Thumb Score: 0
Figured I would pass this along as it may help some people. My initial one year at $ 40 deal with FIOS is about to expire and I wanted to reup. Just agreed to a two year contract at $ 45 to keep the same service after a quick chat with FIOS support.

Yes, you can probably deal with cancelling service and resigning up with FIOS or go to another provider (optimum for me). But for me its just not worth it and this seemed very fair to not have to deal with this hassle for a few more years.

Login to your FIOS account and go to the shop tab. After a minute or so a chat box will open and they will ask you if you are shopping for a contract renewal.

Ibuypower Year End Sale

Thumb Score: -1
Ibuypower has a year end sale going on right now.

https://www.ibuypower.com

I’m in the market for the best Oculus Rift computer build I can afford around 2000 dollars. I have heard Ibuypower is one of the best bang for your buck prebuilt systems…..and being that I’m not really a computer person I would just assume this is a slick deal.

ps: if anyone could recommend the best deal for a VR system, I would appreciate it. I get confused when I try deciding between cores and hyperthreading, and if it’s better for VR or just other high end gaming. I do want to future proof this machine as best I can for around 2k. I would go 2080ti for a graphics card but I’m assuming that would make the rest of my build subpar and lead to bottlenecking? to the point that it doesn’t make sense, correct?

$1/week – 1 year New York Times Basic eSubscription

Thumb Score: -1
Looks like the New York Times is finally offering a subscription at a reasonable price. Well, at least for the first year. So put a reminder in your calendar to cancel before the price goes up and you’re set until then. "Hey Google/Siri/Alexa, remind me to cancel the New York Times on December 18th."

https://www.nytimes.com/subscript…gnId=7L7XQ

Please don’t down vote the deal because you aren’t interested in that paper, think it’s trash, or think paying for any website is stupid. For those that are interested in reading it, want to do so legally and without hassle, it’s a good deal and votes are supposed to be about how good a deal something is.
