After placing the order, within 5 minutes, go back to the order and cancel the free battery. This results in the fan’s price is only $ 26.99+tax. YMMV as I was using an HD Android App, which allowed me to cancel immediately after placing the order, while my friend (used an Iphone app) had to wait for 5-10 minutes for the order to show up.
