I have one of these and it is an awesome speaker. It’s definitely not a "portable" Bluetooth speaker, as there’s no battery (mains power only) and it weighs about 10 lbs, but you can move and set it up in a different room quite easily.
This speaker has won numerous editor’s recommended awards on review sites, and its little brother (the One II) is also named the best all-around home bluetooth speaker at the NY Times Wirecutter review site. You’ll be pretty amazed by how much sound and bass (down to 45 Hz at -3 dB) comes out of this handsome box; you’d be forgiven for thinking it’s paired to a small subwoofer elsewhere in the room like how a soundbar is.
