Eufy is hold pre-orders with nice discounts for their new "SoloCam" line-up. These don’t require the homebase and you just need to mount and download the app. They each have onboard memory and are all wireless.

Hurts my heart that I didn’t wait because the S40 has everything that I could ask for that the previous cams do not. Onboard memory, a 600 lumen spotlight, a hefty battery and integrated solar charging. I currently have 3 Eufy 2C cams and 2 of the Eufy 2 Pro cams. I bought the eufy solar panels when they were on sale for $ 40 each because those are a must for the 2C cams. Their battery life has a lot to be desired. Definitely fall short from the advertised 180 days. The solar power panel is a hassle, but it keeps them charged almost indefinitely.
