There is an active recall on a few Dewalt Miter Saws that are very popular on Slick Deals. I am trying to post this on the consumer awareness thread so I hope this post goes through.

The plastic rear guard assembly can break/shatter when struck, exposing the saw blade and posing a laceration hazard.

The following miter saw models are affected:

I recieved an email from Home Depot about a recall for a Christmas tree I bought in November. This is a tree that was posted on slick deals for $ 79. There is a fire warning for the pedal connected to the Tree. They will replace it for free. Please go to the link and fill in the form and they will send it to you.

Just received email from Walmart.com Recalls stating the Blumen sanitizer I purchased from Sam’s Club was included in the recall. Posting from mobile so sorry if this is wrong area for this. I learned of the sanitizer from SD so assuming Fellow SDers May have to.

Subaru Recall 2007 Outback Passenger Airbags-Free Car Rental or $1500 off of new vehicle

I got a recall notice to stop using the passenger seat until the airbag is replaced. It sprays metal at the passenger when deployed.

I called Subaru and they offered a rental car. They also offered $ 1500 off of my best negotiated price if wanted to buy a new vehicle and not get the car rental.

They were very fast to offer both of these when asked.
