So right now, petco has this 20% off orders over $ 60, if you pick it up in store.

They price matched amazon, but the way they do it, is they take off the 20% from their original price.

I mean it’s already kind of silly to take 20% off AFTER price match. but to subtract the 20% off from the original price… i mean that’s just ridiculous…

So if you don’t understand the math: Original price was $ 125.99. Amazon price is 69.24. They took 20% off, to get $ 100.79. And then they subtracted the price difference from amazon, (100.79 – 56.75 = 44.04). And then you add in tax somewhere? I don’t know. I just know that I just paid $ 44.28 for something that would have cost $ 73.39 from amazon after tax. And amazon already had a pretty sweet deal on this thing.
