Great deal if you need to upgrade your lightweight (non powerstack) battery packs with bigger bank for buck. Been looking for a while at this price for 2 seems like a great deal.
model of the impact is DCF845. this is the best impact dewalt makes for construction. it doesn’t have as much torque as the DCF850 or DCF860, but it’s super light, compact and impacts very fast. it drives screws faster than DCF850 or DCF887.
Be aware that this is a the "regular" 8ah battery, not the new "powerpack". these use to be XR branded. dewalt removed the XR branding but it’s still the same battery with Samsung 21700 40T cells inside

I think this maybe a good deal with two 1.7ah PS batteries included.
Amazon does sell just the bare tool for 105$ without the two batteries.

This drill/driver is the top of the line, though not a hammer drill. IMO, the smaller batteries are ideal for my projects.
Been looking for a deal on Dewalt’s king of the hill mid-torque 1/2" impact wrench. This is the best I’ve seen so far if you want the 5Ah power stack. Those go for about $ 130 on a good day.
