I originally saw the Toshiba deal but really wanted to stick with WD. The 7200 RPM version of the 8TB is on sale for $ 169 with a $ 40 promo code, which seemed like a good deal.
Then I saw this "open box" version for $ 144.99. These look to be all brand new and just some sort of bulk purchase. Still one of the best versions of the "Plus Series" with the faster drive for a great price.
