Budget gaming pc. The thing I like is that it is completely upgradable and expandable. I was looking at the Costco HP with a RTX 3060 ti for 999.99. Is this better value? This would be for my 16 yr old son. I have two other cyberpower pc computers, so I am completely comfortable with the brand.

I realize these will be discontinued over the next several month and prices are likely to decline further, but for those of us needing immediate replacement, this is a pretty good price from a reputable seller (Sold and Ships from Walmart). May be of interest to some, as this deal is back in stock. Price has remained steady at Woot. And yes, it’s Open Box :rolleyes:

I think it’s a super close decision between saving some dough, getting extra VRAM, extra power requirements (including increased heat dissipation) vs the newer RTX 4080 12GB (aka RTX 4070 Ti), with it’s higher cost, DLSS 3 advantages, lower power consumption due to smaller node size.

Nvidia really screwed up the pricing on the 40xx generation, and surely costs will continue to drop – it’s just a question of when.
