So I just got the Garmin Fenix 3 Sapphire (2016 edition that comes with leather and black nylon psuedo Nato bands) for $ 499 at backcountry.com which is approximately 17% off. I got the deal by talking to a sales associate who initially offered me 10% off. I countered with $ 499 and they took it. So seems like you’ll get a better deal if you ask for an actual number in dollars instead of percent. I tried to get 20% off a few days ago and they flat out said no since as you probably know percent off coupons almost always exclude Garmin stuff (backcountry has a 20% off coupon right now).

I’ve been waiting for the updated version of this GPS watch to come out with the built in heart rate monitor since it was announced in January. It retails for $ 599 everywhere I can find it.
