Went in to verizon to see about any deals they had and walked out with a droid turbo 2 for right around $ 160 after all was said and done. I had an old LG G3 with a cracked screen that still turned on that they were able to get the IMEI off of and they gave me $ 200 immediate credit. Everyone can get that. Here’s where the YMMV comes in. Of the 10 lines on my account 9 of them had a $ 200 bonus credit if purchasing a droid turbo 2. I checked with my brother who has 9 lines on his account and only 3 of his had the $ 200 bonus credit. Who knows why, all of our devices are paid off, maybe, IDK. I checked my account online and saw nothing about it, only in store were they able to tell me which lines had the extra $ 200 credit. Anyway, $ 528 (Retail price of phone) – 400 + taxes and the stupid $ 20 activation rip-off fee came out to be $ 160 out of pocket. I had to do device payment plan but the verizon rep just left 24 cents on there which I will pay a penny of for 2 years. I’ll now sell my old S5 on craigslist for 125 or so bucks and get a nice little upgrade for right around 30 bucks all total.
