I purchased the brushless variant for $ 129.00 in store DCD709C2 today also. Brushless is preferred (less heat and energy waste) but $ 99 is a good deal with 2 batteries.

The price on the display say $ 299 for the nailer. I showed him the website and he said to let the cashier know. I checked out through Self Check out and the price for the nailer and battery automatically came to $ 269.00.

Nailer rings up as $ 269.00, Battery as $ 149.00 then it applies a $ 149.00 credit for the battery.

Seems like a great price close to the all-time low on a highly-rated saw with battery and charger. Free shipping and some states have no tax (Georgia did not). Without tax this made the total about $ 2 lower than the best historical price I could find from 2018.
