Another store has it in stock but shows full price online at $ 39.98. I went there and the scanned price was $ 19.98. I asked the cashier if they could price match other store’s price. They did and I got two.

Lowes has the 32 gallon grey Rubbermaid Brute round trash cans on sale for $ 9.97, also the 44 gallon variant. They also have 32 gallon Blue Hawk cans on sale for $ 4.11. Attached is my receipt from a Framingham, MA Lowes.
The Blue Hawk ones are destined to be leaf trash cans; if they last three seasons they’ll have paid for themselves as compared to paper leaf bags. Time will tell.
