This is Walmart… Yeah… What you read about this place is true. I have to have a pep talk with myself to even go it.. but since finding these deals at 3 different Walmart stores in my area, I have been going there weekly scoring great deals with no effort at all.

The stores I am hitting are… Richmond, CA…,, American Canyon, CA…, & Martinez, CA.

They have tons of lures/bait marked down below 50% (booyah, strike king, yum, etc)
They have kayak and boating supplies marked down below 50% (attwood, etc)
They have fishing reels and rods on clearance as well…

Look in the end caps and in the back of the store close to gardening or tools. They moved a lot of the deals from the area they were in to make space for new items…

I have purchased so much stuff, but the biggest finds were…

Minn Kota EDGE 45-42 Bow Mount Trolling Motor for $ 138… Retail $ 348… I just got a rebate confirmation which takes another $ 45 off making my steal price less than $ 100

Note… Richmond has two 30lbs trolling mothers at $ 90… there is a $ 10 mfg rebate… but that price is the same as amazon… so I am waiting on them to go lower…

Note: There were three at Richmond Walmart… I wanted to buy all 3, but I have been waiting on the price to drop again… The past few visits I noticed one missing and tonight the second missing so I had to buy it a the this already good price for a great cooler.

There are still plenty of great deals available. I mean seriously… The lures alone will save you money as most are half off and not the cheap ones either… If you are in the area and want to know where to go for what… just ask. I will admit… I like to hold deals to me so they can mature and I get what I want/need before alerting everyone else.. Sorry.. But that is how YMMV deals work… I had to go to napa to get the trolling motor, to Martinez, and to Richmond… bridge toll and all… gotta make sure the deal stays a deal.

I am sure this can be replicated all over the nation for spring cleaning… But if it cant… Not my fault… Get some exercise and leg work 🙂 The early bird and the one crazy enough to venture in Walmart gets the worm 🙂
