Been looking for a cheap alternative to a Go pro and have been watching this akaso v50 pro because the reviews are pretty decent.

This was on flash sale on Amazon yesterday for like $ 90, but normally over $ 100. Stumbled across it on WalMart.com for this price so I ordered one. We will see if it’s any good but figured for $ 70 it’s worth a shot.

Alive again – I think people are returning these cameras.

ONVIF user authentication is hard coded in the chip inside the cameras. You cannot disable it unlike the older Dahua cameras. I had the online tech disable it but it went right back.

I need it to stream live view photo/video to my Raymarine Axiom display for boat cameras without user log-in but this camera is hard coded to force you to log in with user name and password of admin/admin.

Yes, you can change the username/password for watching your property. You can hard reset if you forget password later.
