There have been a lot of trade-in deals towards the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 but old Nooks are excluded from the offers. For anyone who is looking to unload an old Nook, this deal may be worthwhile.

I just got an email from Barnes & Noble about their deal (5/17 – 6/13) offering tablet trade-in discounts towards a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Nook (either size).

10.1 model = $ 279.99 – $ 50 = $ 229.99

Their other pages about these models mention a 10% discount for B&N members, and the details of this offer don’t seem to specifically exclude stacking discounts (unless I missed it), so it may be worth a shot.

I have an old Nook Color which we haven’t used in forever and has a flakey touchscreen, so I’m slightly tempted.
