I recently bought from this exact link, but I actually received the newer GWM5610U-1. Since the Amazon listing is for the non-U, I don’t know if U and non-Us are mixed together, but I did receive the U.

You can watch Youtube comparison videos between the 5610 and 5610U, but the gist of it is the newer U has LED illumination compared to the elecro-luminescent (which IMO the old one is better looking but degrades over the decades), as well as some tiny interface changes for the better and more preset alarms.
