Saw this at my local Costco, instant manufacturer savings (ends June 25 I think) bring it down to $ 1500, plus you get a $ 300 Costco cash card in the mail, so it’s around $ 1200 net, with 8% tax that’s around $ 1320 net, which is a tiny bit more than the eBay deals that go on regularly. However you have the convenience of returning/exchanging it in-store, as well as an extended Costco warranty.

Ok so I’ve been mountain biking on and off for around 10 years. A few years ago I bought a bike (my first road bike) similar to this one and it was an extremely capable sub 22lbs bike that I ended up doing several metric and one American century on. This bike is great to get started IMO, the bones are pretty good. You’ve got integrated shifting, 2 speed crank, a real Shimano group set, carbon fork, 25c tires (great overall size), and it’s a medium (all they have left) so it will fit a lot of people all for around $ 300 shipped. Enjoy!
