I purchased the brushless variant for $ 129.00 in store DCD709C2 today also. Brushless is preferred (less heat and energy waste) but $ 99 is a good deal with 2 batteries.

Was waiting for my Grainger saw deal from earlier this week to arrive and it doesn’t look like that will be happening so I decided to look around and saw that Lowes had a very similar deal to the one that reached the FP, but instead of being a 5.0 AH it was a 3.0 AH battery. Additionally, more tools. Seems like a good deal to me and didn’t see it so figured I’d share. 🙂

Battery kit is stackable so you can get multiple batteries if you buy multiple tools. Lots of brushless tools here. Seemed like a good deal for those trying to start off their dewalt 20v tool collection.
