The Behmor Brazen is basically automated pourover. A coffee machine for coffee nerds. It’s totally programmable and you can set the initial brew temp in 1 degree increments, you can set an initial pre-soak time and it pulse brews which replicates the repetitive pouring intervals of a hand-brewed pourover. The water does not release to start brewing until it reaches the desired temperature so unlike a lot of coffee machines it is the exact same temperature from start to finish. It is one of only 6 brands of machines that is certified by the Specialty Coffee Association of America (Which means they tested a number of the machines and all of them met these strict requirements [scaa.org]).
