My machine just recently updated to Windows.24H2 update. After this update, the machine no longer comes out of sleep mode by touching the keyboard or mouse. It seems this is a common problem across many brands (HP, Gateway etc). I researched this, and some said to update the bios. I reached out the Gateway, and they said there is no update for the Bios, even though mine has a 2021 bios. The gateway customer service rep offered me two chip updates, but she gave no information about them (Sent me 2 Zip files). And she said, if that doesn’t work, reset your machine. I am skeptical to install updates to the graphics and chips from a Gateway rep that I have no information on, and I have to accept her updates blindly.
