This is a YMMV deal but should be repeatable for some. Just putting it out there if it helps anyone.

Looking on the Samsung website, they have the Galaxy Upgrade event.

They have the Galaxy S20 Ultra for $ 1399, but once you add it, it came up with a $ 300 off automatically. I also had them price match to BestBuy at $ 1199, so they sent me a code to use for $ 200 more off. I then traded in my S9 plus with cracked screen for additional $ 300. I also used a Referal code for another 5% off. It would not take the EDU discount with the $ 300 discount. Total came out to $ 560 plus tax.
