Different category of device than the more expensive TLC SSDs for sure, but I’m eyeing the $ 126 4TB Fanxiang:

Downsides is that it’s QLC and no mention of DRAM, but I unfortunately need 4TB — my photo library doesn’t fit in 2TB.

Read up on the downsides of QLC drives — they can be VERY slow to write once you’re out of the cache. They are also less durable, but if your primary use is reading, these can be lightning fast for super cheap.
