I know all the reasons that people don’t like this phone. No expandable memory, 8gb RAM. But still considering it do to great trade in deals. But I am still considering this and trying to figure out if I am doing the math correctly.

I log into Samsung.com using my Perks at Work. Then order the phone using a Samsung S9 for trade. Samsung lists the phone at $ 949, but then they do all the funky math at checkout, so it looks like my cost is $ 400 + tax. This does not seem like a bad deal but wondering what I am missing. Now if only there was a way to apply my $ 50 in device dollars. Also, there appears to be a 6% rebate from a rascally cashback site.
