Participating GameStop locations in the U.S. will distribute special code cards for the level 70 dual Fire/Water-type Pokémon from October 10 to October 31. Serial codes can only be redeemed for Pokémon Omega Ruby, Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, Pokémon X, or Pokémon Y on Nintendo 3DS.

This Volcanion will have the Ability Water Absorb and know the moves Steam Eruption, Flamethrower, Hydro Pump, and Explosion. In addition, Volcanion will be holding the Assault Vest, an item that increases Sp. Defense by 50 percent, but prevents the use of non-damaging moves.
