If you are in the market for a log splitter, I was at my local Lowes today and they had two of these sitting out front with a "End of Season" clearance price of $ 800.00. Regularly $ 1099.00 and this is what they sell for on Amazon and everywhere else online. As I walked around lowes I googled ratings for this and they were all excellent so I bought this on my way out. Saved an additional 5% using my Lowes card so i got it for $ 760.00 plus tax. Trailered it home, put in 20 ounces of oil, filled up the gas tank, first pull started right up. Was splitting woods in minutes. It’s my first log splitter and all the reviews are very positive so I’m sure it will work great for my needs.
