If you paid $ 100 to apply for Global Entry and cannot complete the application because of the Trump administration’s recent program freeze for NY residents, or because there are no available interview times near you, you may be able to dispute the charge with your credit card company. I successfully disputed with Chase Saphire Reserve to receive $ 100 refund in addition to the $ 100 statement credit I had already received as a standard card benefit. In other words, I initially paid $ 100 to apply for Global Entry and now have received $ 200 back from card services. This doesn’t cancel your Global Entry application, so if something changes I can still receive Global Entry and also keep the extra $ 100.
