If you’re thinking about visiting Patagonia in the South American spring time and willing to take a risk for a good business class deal, Google Flights show LATAM business class tickets for approx 50% off from NYC to Punta Arenas for departures before Dec 7, 2020.

Normally about $ 4400/ticket but now showing $ 2130/ticket.

Economy class is not particularly cheap right now, but I have them discounted from $ 1000/ticket to $ 325/ticket about 2-3 weeks ago.

Latam Airlines [latam.com], a Star Alliance member, have round trip airfares travelling from New York City (JFK) to Buenos Aires Argentina (EZE) for $ 769 including taxes and fees. This makes either 1 or 2 stops…pretty long layovers in South America. Two trips in one!

This airfare is only available through Google Flights because I check Expedia, Priceline and Latam’s website and those prices are at $ 960 at the moment. Using google flights, I was able to get the $ 769 no problems.
