This lens was released in 2017 and features the Nano USM technology and it’s autofocus performance is really fast. Overall, the reviews for this lens point out that it’s sharpness is quite good for the price.

First thread be gentle.. I attended PhotoCon 2016 in Los Angeles and they are having some decent deals. Tamron is selling their 70-300 f/4-5.6 USD Di VC lens for $ 299. Originally priced at $ 449-$ 125 mail-in rebate-$ 25 Samy’s Camera discount=$ 299 with no tax. All mounts are part of the deal, if they don’t have the lens in your mount in stock they will ship it to you for free. Sony is also having a deal for the A6300, trade in your old gear to Samy’s Camera for credit towards any Sony Alpha camera and Sony will deduct $ 100 off the final price. Sony are selling the A6300 (body only) for $ 999.99, when you trade in gear they will offer the trade in bonus of $ 100. Final price will vary depending how much gear you are willing to trade in and you know Samy’s Camera will low ball, also there is no tax. Pretty much a tax free event. There are more deals, but too much to list. When you attend you get a booklet about the event with all the highlighted deals.

Amazon just lowered their price on this Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM "budget" telephoto zoom lens. Not the fastest lens, but I’ve used it for two years and have been very happy with it.
