Logged into my Robin Hood account this morning and noticed a new promotion:

Each friend who signs up through a referral link will be given a free share of stock; you will get a share as well.

1-50 shot at Apple, Google, or Microsoft
1-5 shot at Ford, Sprint, or Verint

Everyone else will presumably get something else.

I know SD generally frowns upon these types of posts (and for good reason) but this is such a cool, legitimate, and positive promotion that it seems too good to not share.

(mod note: while the HBO preview is indeed in a different thread, I believe that with all the SlingTV subscribers on slickdeals that this classifies as a hot deal, plus not many people know about this)

I’m not sure how many already know, but as a heads up, SlingTV’s HBO preview has every past episode of Game of Thrones, The Leftovers, Silicon Valley, or pretty much any HBO series.

And quite a few of the old shows like Sopranos, Deadwood, but unfortunately not Six Feet Under – unsure if that’s due to the Amazon Prime dealio.

There were other sets at least 30% off. It was hard to tell which ones b/c they put up a clearance sign over the item sign and when the item is all gone, you can’t tell what was on clearance. There were several empty spots at my store.

Look at end-caps and in the Lego section. Signs in my store said 15% off but stickers reflected the real price! I didn’t see any Friends or Star Wars sets on sale in my store.
