I used this knife for a few days last month and it’s very similar to my Shun vg10 santoku. It’s longer and little thinner and not as tall, so it feels even better. It’s not quote as narrow as a slicing knife but also narrower than a chefs knife.

I haven’t sharpened it yet on my 1000, 3000, and 5000 chosera waterstones, but my shun gets a pretty good edge.

Handle is pretty comfy as well
