While still the older generation, this model received praise for its great design and solid general performance. Improvements in the second generation include better battery life, higher quality codecs. The second generation only retail for $ 250 ($ 100 less than the first generation’s retail price), but every dollar counts for some buyers. They just hopped into the active noise canceling fray with their update pair. Seems to be getting good reviews on YouTube and a few other places. Solid sound quality with their dual driver setup as well as solid ANC. A firmware update is coming to improve battery life and dial back the bass a touch when ANC is active.
