I’m no expert when it comes to analyzing performance between cards, but this should sit right in the middle between the 470 and 480 4GB cards that have been popping up. Maybe the 8GB will be more useful down the road? In any case, here’s yet another option for all of you looking to upgrade.

This board seems to be much harder to find than the (Wi-fi AC) version. It is identical, but omits the built in wireless which seems to be very hit or miss based on reviews. The money you’ll save buying this board can be used to buy a decent wireless card if needed.

It has pretty much all the bells and whistles including:

-intel networking
-ALC1150 audio
-Sata Express
-M.2
-Thunderbolt 2 ready
-12 phase board
-And a grip more…

Don’t hate, this board is loaded for the price.
